I'm working on a series of nudes in oils at present.
My aim is to try to depict as many 'real' bodies as I can.
I'm not looking for the so-called 'perfect' body, this does not interest me so much, (although there are some very interesting perfect models!).
I suppose what I am looking for is LIFE, a body which radiates life.
For this painting, I liked the way the light fell on the model's back, then drifted away into the shadows.
I also like the idea of her facing away, keeping her thoughts to herself.
